Based on the video you watched last night, what do you see as the pros and cons of the flipped classroom?
How do you Flip your Classroom
Flipping your classroom doesn't have to be hard! The Flipped Institute provides many resources and tips on flipping your classroom.
Determine your content
What content will you have students watch? Self created or video/resources found on the web?
Record your video/Find your resources
You can use your phone, ipad, tablet or whiteboard to create video. In addition, there are MANY types of resources already available to you as a teacher! Check out TeachThought for tools you can use in a Flipped Classroom
Determine your class time activities
flipping the classroom means you must use your time differently. If students are going to 'learn' the content at home that you would typically deliver in class, what activities will you use in class to reinforce the content the students learned at home? These activities should be hands on and engaging.
Access to Content
One of the challenges with flipping your classroom is how to ensure that all students will be able to access the content. What are some way you can think of that students may be able to access the content, especially if they do not have internet access at home?
